History
Vohora & Company Chartered Accountants LLP traces our roots from the sole practice which was first established by Donald W. Scott in 1975. Over the next three decades, the firm serviced Northern BC, as far south as Bella Coola, west to Queen Charlotte Islands and east to Hazelton. In 2006 the firm expanded south merging with a small firm in White Rock. This expansion started our growth into the lower mainland. Later in 2006 we merged with Thurston & Associates, opening a full service practice in South Surrey. In September 2008, the firm merged again, this time with Buchanan and Company, further expanding our presence in the Lower Mainland and continuing to offer services through our South Surrey office. In 2010, the firm again expanded through a merger with Turco Ross & Associates in Vancouver BC, in order to better services our ever growing list of diversified clientele. Our growth and success are achieved by continuing our commitment to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.
Technology & Financial Management
At Vohora & Company, we promote technology as a tool to save time and manage all financial functions. With this in mind Vohora & Company developed a document management system called VohCom Page. This software is a platform that provides interactive management of all tasks within the firm and manages time, billing, and scheduling functions. It is a unique program that assists with our “paperless” environment. Our offices are joined through the power of technology and as a result, all client information is accessible from either of our offices, so if you have a question, our staff from either location will be able to assist you.
Our Services
Today, Vohora & Company offers our clients a full range of both business and personal accounting services. The diverse background and professional calibre of our staff members contribute to make our firm as versatile as a larger firm and yet as easy to deal with as a small office. We are proud to service our clients in Croatian, English, French, Cantonese, Hindi, Mandarin and Punjabi.
